Wednesday, November 20, 2024
6 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Overview

MassDOT will hold a second Public Information Meeting for the Route 114 Danvers/Peabody Long-Term Improvements Study. The meeting will be held on November 20, 2024, at 6:00 p.m., virtually. This study follows Tier 2 construction improvements carried out by MassDOT’s Highway Division.

At this meeting, the study team will share an overview of the study background, present potential future alternatives, and solicit feedback. This Public Information Meeting is the final public meeting as part of the Long-Term Improvements Study.

The Route 114 Danvers/Peabody Long-Term Safety Improvements Study is intended to develop and analyze long-term potential changes to the Route 114 corridor within the Town of Danvers and the City of Peabody. The study analyzed the possibility of installing a median, among other safety measures, and ways to improve the public realm in the area. MassDOT has worked with legislators, municipalities, and stakeholders on this effort. A final report containing existing conditions, alternatives, and recommendations for the study area is expected to be available to the public at the end of 2024.

These meetings are accessible to people with disabilities and those with limited English proficiency. Accessibility accommodation and language services will be provided free of charge, upon request, as available. Such services include documents in alternate formats, translated materials, assistive listening devices, and interpreters (including American Sign Language).
