Public Meeting Notice  Somerville Squires Bridge Construction

An in-person public information meeting for the Squires Bridge Construction Project in Somerville, Massachusetts.

Purpose:

This public meeting will provide the community an opportunity to hear an overview of the upcoming Squires Bridge construction including the project overview, schedule, and the suspension of Green Line train service between Lechmere and Union Square Stations on Monday, September 18, 2023, and lasting for 25 consecutive days through Thursday, October 12, 2023. For the duration of construction, Green Line service on the Union Square Branch will terminate at Lechmere Station; roadway users will not be impacted. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and offer comments. Spanish and Portuguese interpretations will be available at the meeting.

All residents, abutters, local business owners, and interested commuters are invited to attend. All attendees will have the opportunity to enter their email into the project’s email database to receive project updates.
