Overview of Tobin Bridge Planning Study Working Group Meeting #1
This is the first meeting of the advisory Working Group for the Tobin Bridge Long-Term Strategic Planning Study. This study will develop and evaluate alternatives for the eventual replacement of the Tobin Bridge, connecting Chelsea and Charlestown.
At this meeting, there will be an introduction of Working Group members, including elected officials, the City of Chelsea, City of Boston, MBTA, community organizations, and subject matter experts. The study team will share an overview of the study’s background and drafts of the study area, goals and objectives, and evaluation criteria for discussion.
In addition to Working Group meetings, engagement opportunities will be held over the course of the study, including public meetings. Information regarding these activities will be posted on the study website when they are scheduled.
