As a statewide law enforcement agency, our ranks come from all throughout the Commonwealth. We strive to support initiatives, programs, and events all throughout Massachusetts to foster community and build meaningful relationships with those we serve.
Pink Patch Project
The Massachusetts State Police proudly participates in the Pink Patch Project. As a collaborative effort between public safety agencies nationwide, the Pink Patch Project seeks to raise funds for the treatment, research, and care of those that are battling or have battled breast cancer. To raise awareness, efforts include the creation of vibrantly pink versions of each agency's respective uniform patches or equipment.

Boston Marathon
As part of our ongoing commitment to the safety of the public and community events, we're a proud supporter of the Boston Marathon. Hosted as an annual marathon in the Greater Boston area, the Boston Marathon has a long history of encouraging health and friendly competition. Attracting athletes and spectators from around the world, the annual event serves as a foundation of community in the Greater Boston area and the Massachusetts State Police strives to provide security and support to all.
Boston's 4th of July Celebrations
Independence Day is often a large scale celebration in Boston as many gather to watch fireworks and enjoy many of the events going on throughout Boston and on the waterfront of the Charles River. The Massachusetts State Police supports these annual celebrations with a multi-faceted security response in close collaboration with other public security partners. Additionally, these celebrations serve as an opportunity to engage with our communities directly.
