Massachusetts Approach to Partnerships in Parenting (MAPP) Trainings

Thank you for beginning your path to foster or adopt children involved with the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families (DCF).

DCF trains foster parents so they have the skills needed to nurture children who have experienced trauma and to work in partnership with birth families. Our training program, Massachusetts Approach to Partnership in Parenting (MAPP), provides these enhanced parenting skills that will help you meet the challenge of foster parenting.

MAPP training groups are being held both virtually and in-person and are subject to change. Once your application is completed, you will work with a Foster/Adoption Recruitment Social Worker to determine the best MAPP class for you.

If you would like to speak to a Foster/Adoption Recruitment Social Worker please call (800) 543-7508.
