If you are a Radiologic Technologist student ready to take an RT exam, you may qualify to apply for a 1-year temporary license.
RCP will review then issue you a Temporary Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License within 30 days of our receipt of a correct application.

What you need   for Apply for a temporary Radiologic Technologist license

To qualify for a temporary Radiologic Technologist license to practice in Massachusetts, you must have graduated from a 2-year JRCERT or JRCNMT accredited program and be eligible to take an American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) exam.

You will need to submit a:

  • Letter from your school indicating all requirements have been met to sit for the exam boards
    • Or a copy of your diploma certificate showing graduation from a radiologic technologist program
