A permit authorizing the holder to transport and deliver alcoholic beverages lawfully sold by a licensee in Massachusetts to a lawful buyer in Massachusetts.

What you need

To apply for a Cargo permit pursuant to M.G.L. c. 138, § 22 you will need electronic copies of the documents listed below.

Required Documents for ALL new Cargo [Airline, Ship, Railroad] permits:

  • Business Structure Documents: Articles of Organization, Partnership Agreement, Bankruptcy Documents, Estate Documents, Trust Documents or Business Certificate, are required depending on your corporate structure.

Required for Ship Cargo permits:

  • Coast Guard Certificate for the ship being licensed.
