The Details
What you need
To complete an application, enter all required information and attach the following documents:
- A 2" x 2" photo
- Documentation that you are employed by a Massachusetts Sprinkler Contractor
Incomplete applications will not be processed until all missing documentation is submitted.
Fees
Active military members, their spouses & military veterans may qualify for fee-reduction benefits under the Valor Act. Checks or money orders should be made payable to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. All money orders must be signed and dated.

If your application is complete, it will be processed and your physical license sent out by mail.

This license allows the holder to perform sprinkler work subject to inspection under any law, ordinance, by-law, rule or regulation under the direct supervision of a journeyman or sprinkler contractor. Sprinkler fitting work should not be performed without a license
Licensed apprentices will be limited to two (2) renewals of their license unless otherwise approved by the Bureau of Pipefitters, Refrigeration Technicians and Sprinkler Fitters.
