Apply to the Dairy Farmer Tax Credit Program
Are you a registered Massachusetts dairy farm? You may qualify for a state income tax credit based on production costs and milk pricing. It was implemented to offset the cyclical downturns in milk prices paid to dairy farms.
MDAR is now offering an online option for farmers to submit their 2024 - All paperwork must be received by MDAR no later than January 15, 2025.

What you need
To apply to the Dairy Tax Credit Program, you need to be a registered Massachusetts dairy farm. Eligible dairy farmers wishing to participate in the Program must complete and submit the Disclosure Statement Application.
You will need the following information in order to complete the Disclosure Statement:
- Taxpayer identification information
- Shareholder information (if applicable)
- Production report
- Department of Unemployment Assistance (DUA) Certificate of Compliance
