What you need for Berkshire DA: If You Receive A Summons or Subpoena
A summons is a court order directing you to appear in court at a stated time and place. You are required by law to respond to a summons. If you receive a summons, follow all of its instructions including any telephone contact prior to appearance.
Bring the summons with you when you appear on the required day, and report either to the Victim Assistance Advocate or Assistant District Attorney in the appropriate courthouse. The Clerk's office staff can direct you to those individuals when you arrive.
