Victim & Witness Assistance

Providing advocacy and resources to victims of crimes as well as to others who may be witness to a crime.

Upholding the rights of victims of crime is a high priority, and the Victim Assistance Program is a vital part of the District Attorney's Office. Victim Assistance Advocates ensure that crime victims, their family members and witnesses are fully informed of their rights as mandated by Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 258B -The Victim Bill of Rights.
