Initiate a new cable license

The issuing authority may engage in initial licensing either to bring cable television services to a commuity for the first time or to provide the community with a choice in cable television providers. The Department oversees this initial process.

What you need   for Initiate a new cable license

The issuing authority for the municipality will receive a cable license application (Form 100) from the cable operator, along with a $100.00 filing fee. On this page you will find an initial cable licensing guide that the Department has prepared to assist in the initial licensing process.

How to file   Initiate a new cable license

It is the responsibility of the issuing authority to provide a copy of the final executed license to the Department. The issuing authority can email a PDF to dtc.efiling@mass.gov
