The Hanna Awards, which have been held annually since 1983, have become a symbol of prestige within both the law enforcement community and the Commonwealth as a whole.
For this year's awards, all nominations must be submitted by June 12, 2026.

What you need

The selection committee requires a detailed narrative of the incident for which your member is being nominated, along with any news coverage or other information that may assist the committee with its decision.

Please review the criteria and checklist before submitting nominations, as candidates are selected carefully. To preserve the integrity of the Hanna Awards, the committee recognizes only Medal of Honor and Medal of Valor recipients and applies selective criteria.
