The online training, Personal and Home Care Aide State Training (PHCAST) is a self-paced course. To participate in the PHCAST online training, you will need:
- access to a computer, tablet or smartphone with high-speed internet access
- a valid email address
- a desire to learn

There is no cost to participate in the PHCAST online training. It is entirely free!

How to Enroll
PHCAST offers courses to become a Homemaker and/or a Personal Care Homemaker.
- Homemakers help with shopping, cooking, laundry, and tasks around the home like cleaning, doing dishes, and vacuuming.
- Personal Care Homemakers do hands-on work. They help with bathing, dressing, hair care, and getting around.
The Homemaker training is available in English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole.
The Personal Care Homemaker training is available in English, with Spanish and Haitian Creole courses coming soon.
