WM01: Water Management Permit/Registration Transfer

Use this form to request transfer of the right to withdraw water provided through a Water Management Act Program registration or permit.
MassDEP should be notified thirty (30) days prior to the actual transfer date.

What you need   for WM01: Water Management Permit/Registration Transfer

The Transfer Form is a request for a complete or partial transfer of the right to withdraw water that was provided through the issuance of a Water Management Act Program registration or permit. Either registrations or permits may be transferred. MassDEP should be notified thirty (30) days prior to the actual transfer date. Registration transfers for cranberry cultivation can only be for this continued use. Please note: for partial transfers of Registrations or Permits, please contact the appropriate WMA Regional or Boston staff before proceeding.

Important Note: Even when applying online, you will still need to complete a conventional Application Form and upload it as an attachment during the online filing process.

  3. Submit your Application and Fee Payment

    1. File online via the EEA ePlace Portal.
    2. For additional guidance on navigating the EEA ePLACE Portal, please follow this link - EEA ePLACE Portal Instruction Documents
    3. You will have the option to pay online by credit card or automated clearing house (ACH) or pay by mail. If you select the pay-by-mail option, instructions on how to do so will be provided when you submit your online application.
