The Massachusetts Financial Wellbeing Scorecard is designed to be a helpful resource for residents, policymakers, and program leaders across the state. Drawing upon publicly available national and regional data, and an online survey conducted by OEE, the Scorecard outlines how Massachusetts residents are faring in key financial wellbeing indicators, including income, assets, housing, financial capability, and economic security.
The Scorecard reveals that while Massachusetts is home to significant wealth, earning gaps and unequal access to wealth-building pathways contribute to a disparate financial landscape. As residents across our state grapple with rising costs of living, a lack of affordable housing, and an increasingly complex financial environment, expanding access to free financial education and wealth-building opportunities is more urgent than ever. We invite everyone to take advantage of OEE's free financial wellness programs, or spread the word about our resources with your networks.
