Weight limitations

Height limitations
Your truck will not require a special permit if it does not exceed:
- A width, including load, of 8 ft. 6 in. (If using tunnels)
- A height, including load, of 13 ft. 6 in. (If not using tunnels)
There are also restrictions on your vehicle’s height depending on the route you are travelling and the vehicle type. Below are the maximum heights allowed per way and type of vehicle.

Holiday restrictions
No movements are allowed on the following holidays:
- New Year's Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
No movements are allowed between noon the day preceding and noon the day following these holidays: New Year's Day, Independence Day, and Christmas. Otherwise, travel is allowed on State Highways from Monday morning at 12:01 a.m. to noon on Saturday, and Sunday morning from 12:01 a.m. to noon.
