The DCR Plans Library collects and preserves architectural, engineering, landscape, and survey plans that were produced, commissioned, or acquired by DCR and its predecessor agencies. This working collection includes more than 75,000 plans, from the 1890s to the present, documenting a wide range of planning initiatives and construction projects in the state park system.
To obtain copies of plans or other DCR records, complete the on-line DCR Public Records Request Form. There is no charge for digital copies of records, but charges will apply for paper copies. For larger Public Records Requests, the first four hours of research are free, after which a fee of $25/hour will be charged.

DCR attempts to keep its records current and accurate, but cannot provide a guarantee in this regard. DCR provides any plans or other records "as is" without any representations or warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, their accuracy, reliability, omissions, completeness, and currentness for conveyancing, surveying, or any other purpose. Any reliance you place on records provided by DCR is therefore strictly at your own risk. If for any reason you require the official and most up-to-date version of a relevant record, you should secure a true copy directly from the Registry of Deeds, Land Court, or pertinent official repository.
