The Virtual Gateway has changed the logon process to increase security and improve overall user experience. The change will affect all Virtual Gateway (VG) users, including attorneys, foster parents, mandated reporters, foster care review volunteers, contracted service providers, lead agencies, and other DCF partners.
Click here for instructions on logging into the new Virtual Gateway if you are a state employee.
What is Changing for Existing Users?
- After clicking the login link, you will select the new Business Login button.
- You will need to self-register with your own email address to create an account (first time only). This will automatically convert your existing VG account to the new logon process.
- You will use your email address to login moving forward, not your existing VG UserID.
- You will need to set up multifactor authentication (MFA) when you create your account.
- MFA sends a unique security code to your phone which must be entered each time you login to the VG.
This will not affect anything you do once you’ve logged on and no data will be lost.
