- Become the foster parent for the child (licensed kin caregiver)
- Create memories with the child (day trip to a zoo, see a movie, include them in family events, etc.)
- Participate in activities with the child (attend school concerts, offer football sideline support, drive child to drum lessons, plan/join playdates, etc.)
- Help the child stay connected to their family, extended family, friends, etc. (bring the child to church, drive them to visit with cousins, bring them to a community event, etc.)
- Become a mentor (help with homework, teach life skills like laundry, cooking, learning to drive, etc.)
- Support the foster home where the child is living (be available for phone calls, join family visits, visit with the child, etc.)
- Be a phone call, email or video call away for a child you know who needs your support
