Dre’shaun “Drizzy” Johnson

Dre was the star of our family. He was full of energy and so charismatic. He was very charming and loud. You could feel his presence when he entered a room. People always gravitated to him. He was very friendly and would spark up a conversation with anyone.

Family was the most important thing in his life. He enjoyed spending time with his one and only nephew, Anthony. He was looking forward to teaching him how to play basketball and football. He lost his father, Dan, at a young age, but always spoke about all the great times they shared bonding while watching sports and movies. His mother, Linda, was his favorite person in the world and his biggest cheerleader. Dre loved food, especially his grandmother’s delicious empanadas. He loved music and started to hone his skills on the mic. His musical inspiration was G-Herbo.

The day before Dre was taken from us, the final message he sent to his sister, Anasia, was “I appreciate you” and a heart emoji.

Dre, we appreciate you for all the joy and love you brought into our lives. Our world is shattered, and we will never be the same without you, but we will keep your name and memory alive.

Forever young. Forever a star. You will be forever missed and loved…Long Live Dre aka King DRIZZY…
