Garden of Peace

Memorial to Victims of Homicide

Welcome to the website for the Garden of Peace. The Garden is the Massachusetts memorial to victims of homicide, a place where families, friends, and the larger community may remember and honor the lives of those taken by violence. It's an enduring reminder of the impact of violence and a visual testament of the need to eliminate it. At the same time, the Garden serves as a symbol of hope, peace, and renewal.

2024 Honor Program

Thank you to all who joined us for the 20th Annual Garden of Peace Honor Program last Thursday. MOVA is honored to support the Garden community and help create a space for those to remember and honor their loved ones.

We are privileged to witness the vulnerability, courage, and compassion of those who attend and those who choose to speak and share their stories with us each year. It is our hope that the Honor Program will serve as a reminder that you and your loved ones will always have a community in the Garden of Peace.

If you or someone you know is looking for support, please visit www.mass.gov/askMOVA to find a local resource near you.
