FY26 Grant Round is Open!

Overview

The DWSP grant program provides financial assistance to public water systems and municipal water departments for the purchase of land or interests in land for the following purposes: 1) protection of existing DEP-approved public drinking water supplies; 2) protection of planned future public drinking water supplies; or 3) groundwater recharge. It is a reimbursement program.

Please attend the online information session to learn more about the grant program. One online information session will be held at 2:30 pm on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, via MS Teams. Please email vanessa.farny@mass.gov by Friday, February 6 to register.

Grant Details

  • Maximum award: $350,000
  • Reimbursement rate: 60%
  • Grant bid release date: January 5, 2026
  • Grant deadline: April 13, 2026, 11:59 P.M.
