Grant Description
The Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) is releasing this non-competitive renewal procurement to award grants to public Massachusetts community colleges for the purposes of offering higher education courses, cohorts and academic support for educators entering, and continuing their professional pathways. The focus of the grant is to promote and expand higher education CDA Plus certificate and degree options and attainment for the early childhood education (family childcare, center-based, and out-of-school time workforce). Selected grantees will be expected to promote the entry of new educators into the profession, reduce barriers to higher education, support the development of credit for prior learning and competency-based experiences, and support employer and industry collaboration. The Career Pathways Grant is funded out of line item 3000-7066 in the state budget.

This is a non-competitive renewal grant application that is open to FY 2023 Career Pathways Grantees only.
Eligibility Requirements
Please refer to the FY2023 Career Pathways Grant Application and the FY2024 Career Pathways Grant Application RFR Amendment for the list of eligibility requirements for this grant. Current FY 2023 Career Pathways Grantees must be in good financial and programmatic standing with EEC to be eligible for a grant in FY 2024.
