To learn more about fulfilling your role as a board member, we hope you will attend the OIG’s class, Are You a Member of a Public Board or Commission? Know Your Responsibilities. This class is offered upon a jurisdiction's request through the OIG's Massachusetts Certified Public Purchasing Official (MCPPO) program.

If you would like to learn even more about protecting your public organization and its limited public resources, the MCPPO program offers a wide range of classes – from public procurement to contract administration to fraud prevention. Please explore the MCPPO’s class offerings that teach you about the laws that promote transparency and accountability in government.

Thank you for your service and best of luck in your role as a public board member!
