This grant program assists Regional Planning Councils with efforts to prevent terrorism and other catastrophic events and to prepare for the threats and hazards that pose the greatest risk to the security of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the United States.
National funding priority areas include projects that enhance community preparedness and resiliency, cyber security, election security, information and intelligence sharing with federal agencies, better protect soft targets or crowded locations and that combat violent domestic extremism.
This program is made available through federal funding.
Eligibility
Only Homeland Security Regional Planning Councils are eligible to apply.
