List of Participating Banks in the Small Business Banking Partnership

We invest state cash deposits under the control of the Treasurer of Massachusetts with banks that are willing to expand their small business lending.

A note to potential small business loan applicants:

The Small Business Banking Partnership was created to help banks expand their small business loan programs. We did not require participating banks to create a special loan program for the Partnership. Some institutions have informed us that they will do so, but many banks may use the funds to extend their existing lending programs. Thus, loan officers may not have detailed knowledge of the Partnership.

The Office of the State Treasurer does not directly loan any funds and will not be involved in making any loan determinations. Thus, if you have an interest in seeking a loan under this program, then you should apply for a small business loan at a participating bank in the normal manner.

If you have additional questions or concerns, please contact our office at (617) 367-3900 or partnership@tre.state.ma.us.
