Small Business Banking Partnership

This initiative invests state funds for loans to small businesses in Massachusetts.

The Treasurer's office launched the Small Business Banking Partnership on May 5, 2011. This initiative moves at least $100 million in state deposits to qualified community banks for loans to small, creditworthy businesses. The capital is intended for small businesses to expand and create new jobs.
