Description
Little Sandy Pond is 34-acres in size, with average depth of 5 feet and a maximum depth of 11 feet. The pond bottom is sand, aquatic vegetation is rare, and the waters are typically transparent to 5 to 10 feet. The eastern and western shores are moderately developed with year-round residences.
Recreational access
Little Sandy Pond can be accessed from the road at the intersection of Bourne and Little Sandy Pond Roads (get directions). Cartop boats can be carried in here, parking is roadside. Be mindful of private property boundaries. Please contact the town of Plymouth for additional information and/or restrictions pertaining to public access to Little Sandy Pond.

Fish populations
The following fish species were found during MassWildlife surveys:
- largemouth bass
- chain pickerel
- yellow perch
- pumpkinseed
- brown bullhead
Fishing
While reports are limited, some 5lb and larger largemouth bass have come out of Little Sandy Pond in years past. Little Sandy Pond has produced largemouth bass and sunfish that meet minimum sizes for recognition by the Freshwater Sportfishing Awards Program.
