Mass Maritime Academy - Campus-wide Decarbonization Project

As envisioned by the decarbonization roadmap for the facility, this project electrifies a portion of the campus heating loads with the installation of an energy transfer loop, geothermal wells, and building-based water-source heat pumps in addition to implementing campus-wide energy conservation measures and improving the resiliency of the retrofit mechanical systems. The wellfield and energy transfer loop include future capacity for the campus.
