Webinars and learning opportunities
The Massachusetts Breast and Cervical Cancer Program and the Massachusetts Medical Society have produced a CME-granting webinar on shared decision making for prostate, lung, and breast cancer screening. The breast cancer section reviews current clinical guidelines for screening individuals aged 40-49 with mammography, criteria for identifying young individuals at high risk for breast cancer, and best practices for engaging patients in a robust shared decision-making process. This webinar is available for providers free of charge on the Massachusetts Medical Society website.
