These three positions are full-time contract opportunities. The primary work location will be at 1 Ashburton Place Boston, Massachusetts 02108. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00AM to 5:00PM EST and is expected to follow a hybrid model of reporting to work that combines in-office workdays and work from home days as needed.

GIS Application Developer II

AUGUST 14, 2025 - The GIS Application Developer II will create and maintain custom .NET location service APIs and develop geospatial applications using ArcGIS APIs including ArcGIS Pro SDK and .NET Maps SDK.

GIS Analyst II

SEPTEMBER 12, 2025 - The GIS Analyst II is responsible for developing, integrating, maintaining, analyzing, documenting, and distributing GIS data layers and other GIS products. The Analyst is also the primary point of contact for municipalities and 911 staff regarding address updates, questions and mapping or address issues. Additionally, the GIS Analyst manages small projects.

GIS Technician

SEPTEMBER 12, 2025 - The GIS Technician is responsible for developing, integrating, maintaining, analyzing, documenting, and distributing GIS data layers and other GIS products. The technician will be primarily responsible for updating the structure information maintained as part of MassGIS’ Master Address Database. This will include location review, data editing, and QC.
