Nonprofit Security Grant Program

The Nonprofit Security Grant Program provides federal funds to assist nonprofit organizations that are at risk of a hate crime or terror attack.

The Office of Grants and Research (OGR) is the State Administrative Agency (SAA) for all funds received by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts from the Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).  As such, OGR manages and administers the Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP) in Massachusetts.  This program provides funding support for target hardening and other physical security enhancements to nonprofit organizations that are at high-risk of terrorist attack.

Program Eligibility:
Eligibility is limited to nonprofit organizations (as described under section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986) at high-risk of terrorist attacks.
