The Office of Grants and Research (OGR) intends to award $111,500.00 in Federal Fiscal Year 2024 Edward J. Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program funds to Suffolk County District Attorney's Office and Worcester County District Attorney’s Office to implement the SFY26 Human Trafficking Enforcement and Training Program.
OGR, in collaboration with the Executive Office of Public Safety and Security, has completed its solicitation for projects to be funded under the SFY26 Human Trafficking Enforcement and Training Grant Program. This federal funding was used to supplement allocated state funds for District Attorney's Offices to support or expand their human trafficking programs and initiatives that adhere to best practices as outlined in the Massachusetts Human Trafficking Law Enforcement Guidelines.
Project activities will include:
- Human Trafficking Special Prosecutor
- Enforcement / Investigative Efforts
- Prevention / Intervention Services
- Training
This announcement has been posted as a Notice of Intent to Award Funding. No applications are currently being accepted. The anticipated project period for this award is November 2025 through June 30, 2026.
