Notice of Intent to Award Funds to the Hampden County District Attorney’s Office, Hampden County Sheriff’s Office, and the Holyoke Police Department

This announcement serves as notice of intent to utilize federal grant funds.

The Office of Grants and Research (OGR) intends to award $117,874.88 in federal FY22 Project Safe Neighborhood (PSN) funds to the Hampden County District Attorney’s Office, Hampden County Sheriff’s Office, and the Holyoke Police Department.

The purpose of this PSN grant opportunity is to provide funding for three (3) agencies serving the PSN target cities. The PSN Selection Committee has pre-selected the communities to receive a percentage of PSN funding for the amounts listed below –

  • Holyoke Police Department: $47,149.95
  • Hampden County District Attorney’s Office: $58,937.44
  • Hampden County Sheriff’s Office: $11,787.49

This is not a competitive solicitation, as award amounts and subrecipients were determined by the PSN Selection Committee.

The estimated project period is February 2026 – June 30, 2026.
