Notice of Public Hearing - City of Quincy, 50 Dennis Ryan Parkway

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts' Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (“DCAMM”) hereby gives notice that, pursuant to Section 37 of Chapter 7C of the Massachusetts General Laws, a public hearing will be conducted to disclose the conditions and reasons for the proposed purchase of 2.5± acres of real property located at 50 Dennis Ryan Parkway in Quincy, Massachusetts (the “Property”).

The Property is owned by the County of Norfolk and is currently used for the operation of the Quincy District Court. As a result of the analysis in the Massachusetts Courts Capital Master Plan conducted in 2017, the Quincy District Court was identified for replacement. The Property shall be acquired by the Commonwealth so DCAMM and Trial Court can construct a new modern court building.

The hearing shall be conducted in person on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. in the Great Hall, Quincy City Hall, 1305 Hancock Street, Quincy, Massachusetts.
