Massachusetts Growth Capital Corporation lends to businesses unable to access credit from traditional lenders or those unable to get additional credit from an existing lender. Each loan is customized to solve a specific financing problem using term loans, lines of credit, partial and limited guarantees, over advances, contract financing, or a combination of these tools. The Massachusetts Small Business Development Center helps businesses succeed in Massachusetts by providing free, confidential, one-to-one business assistance and free or low-cost educational training programs to prospective and existing small businesses throughout the Commonwealth. Community Economic Development Assistance Corporation (CEDAC)
The Community Economic Development Assistance Corporation serves as a financial and technical assistance resource to non-profit organizations engaged in effective community development. The Community Economic Development Assistance Corporation is a public-private community development finance institution (CDFI) that provides technical assistance, pre-development, acquisition and permanent lending, and consulting services to non-profit organizations involved in affordable housing development or preservation and capital improvements to child care facilities. Massachusetts Port Authority
Massport operates an integrated transportation system that delivers world-class safety, security, facilities, and customer services in an environmentally responsible manner. The Authority’s facilities include airport properties such as Boston-Logan International Airport, Worcester Regional Airport and Laurence G. Massachusetts Office of Business Development (MOBD) serves as the umbrella organization for all business development activity on behalf of the state. The Commonwealth is divided into six regions, each led by a regional Director who reports to the executive director.
MOBD offers a range of expertise and services to help business flourish in Massachusetts. Massachusetts Office of Business Development’s staff operates regionally statewide, so that the agency can provide on-the-ground knowledge and viable connections for businesses.
