Massachusetts Office of Business Development Economic Development Incentive Program (EDIP)
Massachusetts Office of Business Development (MOBD) serves as the umbrella organization for all business development activity on behalf of the state. MOBD offers a range of expertise and services to help business flourish in Massachusetts, including the Economic Development Incentive Program (EDIP).
EDIP is designed to foster the creation of quality full time jobs in every corner of the Commonwealth by responsibly awarding attractive tax credits to businesses committed to starting and growing in Massachusetts. The program directs awards to projects that leverage private investments to create jobs and generate new economic activity across the state. Approved projects typically receive an award aligned with their job creation commitment and other factors. Workforce Investment Trust Fund
The Workforce Investment Trust Fund is administered by the Executive Office of Economic Development and supports competitive grants through workforce development programs and eligible recipients that develop and strengthen workforce opportunities for low income communities and vulnerable youth and young adults in the Commonwealth, including through job skills training, adult literacy, English language learning, and other strategies that promote stable employment and wage growth.
