Attention New Individual and Business Entity Producer Applicants and Renewing Licensed Producers
Announcing 2014 Uniform Licensing Applications
Effective March 14, 2014, the NIPR (National Insurance Producer Registry) and the Massachusetts Division of Insurance will be implementing the newly adopted NAIC (National Association of Insurance Commissioners) Uniform Licensing Applications for all new and renewing producers.
Effective March 13, 2014, at 5:30 PM EDT, all Gateway (online) licensing applications and renewals will be temporarily halted for the transition to the new 2014 Uniform Applications. Transactions submitted while these applications are not running will be held and processed once the applications are turned back on; no later than 7:00 AM EDT March 14, 2014. Any transactions submitted between the time the applications are turned off on March 13th and the time they are turned back on March 14th will need to include the changes required for the new uniform applications implementation, or they will be declined once processing is resumed on March 14th.
All applications submitted online through http://www.nipr.com that were incomplete will be removed from the NIPR system. New applications can be created and submitted once the 2014 Uniform Licensing Applications are made available.
Please contact NIPR Customer Service at customerservice@nipr.com with any questions or for additional information.
