At the age of 38, Robert “Duffy” Baldassari, born and raised in the North End, was murdered only steps from his restaurant on Hanover Street.
To those who knew him, he was friendly, always smiling, generous, caring, and truly dedicated to work and family.
To his youngest daughter, he was her “best friend.” The last memory she had with her dad was when he threw her the “most unbelievable” Sweet Sixteen party. He never got to see her graduate high school, get her driver’s license and or attend her wedding.
He is incredibly missed.
