The Root Cause Solutions Exchange is a dynamic resource hub and network of people committed to improving the physical and social conditions that play the biggest role in our health. Our goal is to build resilient communities that are less vulnerable to chronic and infectious disease, climate change, and other health issues and emergencies, with a focus on structural racism. Strategies include changing policies and practices, creating partnerships across sectors, and investing more dollars in communities.
The Exchange provides resources and tools - such as coaching, trainings, technical assistance, networking opportunities, and seed funds - to municipal governments, regional structures, community-based organizations, and resident groups. Areas of focus include Social Determinants of Health, root cause analysis, policy, systems and environmental change, racial equity and justice, community engagement, data and action, and multi-sector collaboration.
