Program Guidelines and Information
This program, collectively referred to as Non-Elderly Disabled (NED) vouchers, is an integral part of the Commonwealth’s housing continuum that provides permanent housing for persons with disabilities. It is administered by the Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities (EOHLC) with our regional administering agency partners.
How it works:
- The NED programs provide Section 8 / Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCVP) tenant-based vouchers to non-elderly disabled families and individuals.
- NED vouchers are issued to eligible households selected from the standard Section 8 HCVP waiting list.
- All conventional Section 8 HCVP program requirements apply.
- See EOHLC Administrative Plan Section 26.1 for details.
