Review Active State and Retail Licensees
A list of licensees is available online via our eLicensing Portal.
Active State Licensees
To view a list of Active State Licensees, visit this page. To search by entity name, DBA, or city, please use the Accela Citizen Access Search.
Active Retail Licensees
To find an active retail licensee, within the Accela Citizen Access Search:
- Select Search for a Commonwealth Licensee
- Select License Entity
- Select License Type and choose Off-premises Retail or On-premises Retail
You may also select Download Results to obtain an Excel file of the licensee list you picked.
Submit your public records request
To ensure a timely response to your Public Record Request, please submit the request in writing, and include the corporate name, DBA ("doing business as"), and address of the licensee, with your name, address, and contact information. You may use the form found below which is provided for your convenience: Public Record Request Form
To request an audio copy or a transcript of a hearing, please include the Licensee’s name/DBA and date of hearing.
Written requests may be delivered to the address above by hand or mail; facsimile, (617) 727-1510; or email abccrecordrequests@tre.state.ma.us.
Please be advised that pursuant to 950 CMR 32, the first four hours of work performed to respond to a public records request will be performed at no cost. After that, the agency may charge up to $25 per hour. The ABCC may charge five cents per page for copying.
If payment is required, you may send a check or money order, payable to Commonwealth of Massachusetts – ABCC. You may also pay online.
For online payment:
- Under Select License Type, select Record Request Fee.
- Under Select an Option, select New License. Follow the prompts to complete payment.
Please let us know the confirmation number of your payment so that we may reconcile it to the daily bank report.
