Q3. How often should I update my Telework Form?
Telework Forms should be updated annually per the Executive Department Telework Policy or any time your regular work schedule changes. You do not need to submit a new form for one-off, non-recurring changes to your schedule (for example, a change to a single telework or in-office day) approved under department procedures.

Q5. Who approves my Telework Form?
Most often, the person who approves your timesheet will approve your Telework Form.
Q6. How do I enter my schedule into the Telework Form?
In the Telework Days menu list, you can select one of the following options. Keep in mind that you are indicating the days you telework which are the days you are not in the office.
- Average Days/Month – Enter the number of telework days per month.
- Average Days/Per Week- Enter the number of telework days per week.
- Specific Days/Per Week – Select the specific telework days per week.
If you need to provide additional details, such as the hours you work each day, in the Attachments section, select the Add Notes button to provide specific information about your telework days.

In the Attachments section of the Telework Form, select the Add Notes button to provide specific information about the hours you work each day. Please note that, unless directed by your agency, this step is not required.
Q8. I come into the office on a schedule not listed in the drop-down menu. How should I fill this out?
Your agency may provide instructions on how to complete this section. Otherwise, select the option that is closest to your schedule. Then, in the Attachments section, select the Add Notes button to provide specific information about your telework days.
Q9. Does Employee Self-Service send notification emails about the Telework Form?
Yes, you will receive a notification email when your Form is approved, denied or pushed back by your approver. Your direct supervisor and second-level supervisor will not receive an email notification when a Form is awaiting their review.
Q10. As an Approver, I can see pending Telework Forms in the Approvals Tile for my second-level reports (those who report to my direct reports), what action is required?
You do not need to take any action. The pending requests will disappear as soon as the employee’s direct supervisor approves or denies the Form.
