USGS Stream Gage and Well-Monitoring Data

Find instructions and links for accessing USGS Stream gage and well-monitoring data. This data is submitted to MassDEP under the Water Management Act.

How to obtain USGS Stream Gage Data

Step 1

Select your assigned USGS Stream Gage link from the list located directly after Step 3 of these instructions. 
Note: To keep these instructions open for reference, please right click on your link and select "Open Link in New Tab

Step 2

Underneath the graph, click on "View Tabular Records".

Step 3

After clicking, a table will appear titled "Discharge, cubic feet per second – Daily Mean". Using this table, you can view the daily stream gage value. The table starts at the most recent available date but up to a year of data is viewable, if needed, by using the navigation icons underneath the table.

How to Obtain USGS Well Monitoring Data

Step 1

Select your assigned USGS Ground Well link from the list located directly after Step 3 of these instructions. 
Note: To keep these instructions open for reference, please right click on your link and select "Open Link in New Tab

Step 2

Underneath the graph, click on "View Tabular Records".

Step 3

After clicking, a table will appear titled " Depth to water level, feet below land surface - Daily Mean ". Using this table, you can view the daily water level value. The table starts at the most recent available date but up to a year of data is viewable, if needed, by using the navigation icons underneath the table.
