Letters opposing Purdue settlement offer & injunction request

In support of Attorney General Maura Healey’s efforts to hold Purdue Pharma and the Sacklers accountable for their role in fueling the opioid crisis, Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker, Boston Mayor Marty Walsh, healthcare organizations, labor unions, and the recovery community sent letters to the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, urging the court to reject Purdue’s settlement offer and the request for a national injunction against all state enforcement actions.
