This FREE, six-module, self-paced web course curriculum was designed to help Massachusetts build a trained TBI workforce statewide. The content is geared for all levels of community-based providers.

The web course can be completed from any device.
It also qualifies for continuing education credits for Nurses, Case Managers, Social Workers, Psychologists, and Emergency Personnel. Each of the modules is valued separately in terms of continuing education and equals a total value of 6.5 credits.
The Massachusetts Traumatic Brain Injury in Elders Web Course was produced in collaboration with staff at the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission (MRC), the Brain Injury Association of Massachusetts (BIA-MA), Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MDPH), the Michigan Public Health Institute (MPHI) and several subject-matter expert consultants to sustain the efforts of a federal grant through web-based education on traumatic brain injury (TBI) in adults with a particular interest in elders.
The content is geared for all levels of community-based providers (new or experienced) and aims:
To increase public awareness around incidence of TBI in older adults
To facilitate routine screening for TBI in all settings
To improve access to brain injury information and resources for all
