Medical Oversight and Education

The Municipal Police Training Committee receives medical oversight for the training provided to the Commonwealth’s police officers.

The Municipal Police Training Committee (MPTC) utilizes a medical advisor who is a licensed physician to provide medical oversight for training to police officers throughout the Commonwealth. Our medical advisor also publishes periodic medical alerts and advisories relating to emerging medical issues officers may encounter. Additionally, our medical advisor can serve as a medical advisor to departments upon request.
