Purpose

To provide information to Registered Apprenticeship program sponsors regarding required fees.

Background

Pursuant to 454 CMR 26.03(8)(g) and 454 CMR 26.06(5), the Division of Apprentice Standards (DAS) Regulations require that a registration fee be paid to DAS upon registering and renewing Registered Apprenticeship Programs and registering and renewing apprentices. Our new registration system allows us to collect these fees in a streamlined manner from all program sponsors. Documents will not be processed by DAS without the accompanying proof of payment.

Schedule of Fees

  • Sponsor Application Fee/Annual Renewal: $250
  • Apprentice Registration/Renewal: $35
  • Sponsor Verification (per request): $50

Waivers for Program Fees

Public entities will have program fees waived, and any other sponsor who can demonstrate that the fee will be unduly burdensome will have the opportunity to request a waiver as well. Speak to your assigned Apprenticeship Liaison to request a waiver.
