BOSTON — Massachusetts Attorney General Andrea Joy Campbell today issued the following statement in response to the federal government’s shutdown, effective as of midnight last night.
“Massachusetts residents are already grappling with high costs, and now their paychecks, benefits, and essential services are being put at even greater risk by dysfunction in Trump’s Washington. Our families, communities, and economy will now face even more needless instability. My office is monitoring the impacts of this shutdown and will do everything we can to support our residents.”
